Skift Take: Airbus and Boeing have been updating their narrow-body cash cows — the Airbus A320 family and Boeing 737 — for decades. That has worked well enough, allowing them to deliver better fuel burn to airlines at limited cost. But it's time for the manufacturers to build a new narrow-body aircraft from scratch.
