Skift Take: Some backstory: Montana has benefited from $580 million from the Land and Water Conservation Fund, which improves access to fishing, hunting, and hiking sites across the state. But the Trump Administration's 2019 federal budget has proposed slashing that to less than $8 million, which might crimp Montana's recent, tourism-based economic growth.
