Stress, Negative Emotions, and Health

Science is developing more and more evidence that shows negative emotions affect your health.  Anxiety, stress and resentment actually weaken your immune system.  Once your immune system is depressed, you’re much more vulnerable to all kinds of opportunistic diseases and sickness.

Last week we looked at when ego is good for you.  This is an example when it might be bad.   I would wager that people who use the words “I,” “me,” and “mine” a lot, suffer a more heart attacks than other people.  No double blind studies to back this up.  But it’s something I would bet the rent on…

Because people who use those words too much, have a narcissistic self-focus.  And when you’re worried about yourself all the time – you’re worrying all the time!
